Default Pedal heights

Does it bother anyone else that the throttle pedal is set a good couple inches back from the brake pedal? It just feels uncomfortable for me to have to move my whole foot to switch pedals instead of just pivoting on my heel. It also makes it pretty much impossible to heel-toe downshift.

I've been thinking about working up some sort of "spacer" to bring the throttle up some, to match the brake pedal. Anyone ever attempted this before?

I couldn't really figure out where the best place would be, but i figured it was an interior thing, so I threw it in here.

I could heel toe all day long with the stock pedals, altho the pedals could be a little closer, but the heigth thing dosent bother me.
