Default Found pictures of a 4" cowl hood on a Firebird!

Non-sponsoring vendor link removed (ebay ad)

I think 4" is a bit too high, but what do you think about the look of a cowl hood on a bird?

I think whoever designed it needs more practice. Just looks weird.

I have seen worse...but that isn't much of a compliment in this case.

The whole fricking point of a Firebird is to have the functional nose intake (and good seats ).

If you want to butcher the nose, buy a damn Camaro.

There is a 98-02 Trans Am (not sure exactly what year) convertible parked over in Tomball down 2920 on the right (going away from 249) had a 4 inch cowl used to see it all the time but I haven't been down there in awhile but if I see it again I'll try and take pics.

I don't think it looks that bad. I think we're just not used to seeing it so people think it looks bad. Personally, I think a two inch cowl, with more of a traditional shape would look pretty sweet.

I'd like to see the ViS carbonfiber cowl hood on a Bird. The cowl is only 3" high, and is wider then the one pictured above. The width of the hood is as wide as the base of the firebird hood.

I don't see how people even like cowl hoods on any car. Different strokes for different folks I suppose.
