Default Flat Black Manta Stripe Kit

Anyone have a pic to check out. Might do this pretty soon to match the through back rear panel mod (berger mod).

Don't waste your money on the vinyl. Give it to a painter!

I'd imagine putting that sticker on correctly would be pretty difficult.

Thanks for the replies. Since everyone said to paint the manta stripe, what is the average cost for the paint job. And if you are in the socal area what shops will do the stripe?

I had other things done in addition to the manta (deck stripe, pinstriping, etc.) so my total bill was cumulative. I believe, though, the manta alone was around $400.

Well… you're gonna pay about $200 for a vinyl kit and it's not gonna look near as good as paint. Especially after a couple years of wear and tear.

Well, I guess for those who are indecisive that's a plus, albeit a waste of money.

3rdgen was my first choice, but found a site (not a sponser so i wont mention) that sells the whole kit for $50, but only gives you 1 manta. If I f-up im screwed.... and they make it in the flat black, still on pics of a flat black kit bye the way.

I hope nobody takes offense to my remarks. I'm not trying to trash anyone's decision to use vinyl. I, personally, am not a fan of any sort of vinyl stuck on a automobile. If you've seen any pics of my car on the site, you'll notice that I don't even have any decals on there. As a matter of fact, the first thing I do when I buy a car is make the dealer remove their decal. It's just a personal preference.

That said, if you can get a vinyl manta stripe for $50… I say go for it, and Good Luck!
