Tweeter Pods/bonding fiberglass to plastic
Here are the "temporary" tweeter pods I built for my 04 Silverado standard (short) cab. I had never really worked with fiberglass before and WOW, did I learn a lot doing these. I plan to use them till I get a chance to build another set (I want to build some that more closely "blend" with the "lines" of the interior).
My major problem with these is where the fiberglass "blends" (where I sanded it down to smooth it) into the panel, it seems to be turning loose. Any ideas on how to make the fiberglass really BOND to the plastic?

thanks man...
For my camaro, I had a guy build some tweeter pods (damn...almost 4 years ago). They are the same idea as what I did for my truck. I know what you are talking about (those little defrost vents). I like the tweeters being mounted on the doors better as they seem to not only look better but also keeps the vents working as they should.
