Default cleaning longtubes

This might sound like a stupid question but what product would you use to properly clean ceramic coated longtubes. The car has been in the rain a couple of times and they have some rust colored residue on them. I just want them to have the polished appearence to them.

get a bit of acid (really intense aluminum cleaner) and a toothe brush and the rust comes rate off.

When I got my headers/y-pipe I got instructions for maintenance. In a nutshell, soapy scotch-brite green pad to clean rough spots else just mineral spirits to clean them up, then some polish.

Doing the headers is a pain. I get as much as I can from under the car. Y-pipe is easier. I do this during the first oil change of the year (car is stored from Jan - Mar, hate midwest winters and the salt).

Hope this helps.
