Default Matching my gauges

OK well i got a dual gauge pod on my a pillar.

I have this one:

and this one:

I have reason for picking the ones I did. Their displays match very well but the ring around them dont. One is silver, the other is black. Also one is more bezelled and the other one is smoother. I really would like to get the rings to match because these gauges work very well and match with the stock gauges.

What do you think i shoudl do?

I dont think it will be easy to match to silver so i might just paint the silver one black. Do you think i should possibly bust out the dremel and attempt to make their shapes equal (I might mess em up tho).

paint first to see how they turn out, masking and painting is easy enough, plus you dont know how much material is there to dremel away.
