crome! as long as i keep wax on them they will not rust! I had crome all over my old dodge truck and it lived in the mud and it never rusted after 5 years!

If they're not Stainless they're not gonna last. They'll look just like the big chrome slash tips on every pickup you see, with massive rot holes in them. Also everyones Hooker tips just rot away too.

They look freakin' amazing!! I definitely think T/A's need either dual tips or ovals to fill the gaps in the bumper.

funny thing is i have had those for over 5 years and no rust! Its all in how you take car of them! Now wax on crome=rust and this truck lives in the mud! i clean them then wax them and they stay like new!

Well, if they're not stainless, may I suggest that you get some Flat Black, High-Heat spray paint and paint the insides of the tips. I had an RK Sport exhaust on my '93 V6. The inside of the tips had a nice coat of rust on them the day after they were installed. I removed the rust and painted inside the tips and never had another problem. I polished the exterior of the tips frequently and that's all. Lasted as long as I had the car, 10 + years.

They are stainless steel. I made sure with a magnet. They're easy to clean up.
