ok so im going to be getting an slp grille anytime soon....but i just cant stand the grille I have on now. Should i just suck it up and keep it on or just take it off and lwave it without a grille till i get the slp one.

leave it, but hopefully you get the Black SLP "SS" Grille!!! (the one with the red outlined-on black-SS badge)

but its gonna look so sick when its installed, no one even notices the blank flat balck you have now... the new one will accent it so much! I cant wait to see pics!

yea dude i know....im also gonna be getting a full paint job because it doesnt have a clear coat on it and there are some chips around the body and than it will really be sticking out!!!

I'm in the same boat as you. I hate the crappy flat black POS that's on there. I really want the SLP SS grille with silver SS badges. The price of them is a little steep and I cringe at spending that much on it. The wings west grille is nice too actually.

yea the price sux but i think in the long run it will be worth it...o and that's a pic of my car when it was dirty, just a good pic to show the grill

Keep the stock grille, but have it painted to match the color of the car. That would look great....kind of like this......

yeah... I say for the time being... rattle can it gloss black... looks better then that flat black, plus it doesn't look terrible.

I say keep the grille until you go to SLP, paint it glossy black until then..

sand it down a lot to get rid of all the plastic texture, it takes a while to get it nice and smooth

The SLP SS grille looks sooo much better. GM should have put these on from the factory, but that would have been too expensive. Look around on ebay, I got mine for $125, and it was barely used.
