Default hatch conversion ?

i am changing my v-6 formy hatch that came on my TA to a high rise hatch, do i need to change any of the latch stuff or is it a straight swap, thanks for any help

not necesarrily true. I did the conversion from my formy hatch to a t/a. The metal latch on the hatch that locks into the car might not fit. My T/A metal latch was too thick. I just swapped latches from my formy hatch to my t/a hatch and solved the problem. Just a heads up in case that occurs to you.

ok thats cool to i was mainly worried about having to get a latch from a high-rise hatch from a car that had one, thanks for the input guys

you may have to change the struts too...the TA hatch is like 50 pounds heavier than the V6/Formula hatch

Yes!! new struts. Sucks for me tho cause my formy struts were done so i bought new ones for my formy and figured id put it on my t/a hatch when i install it and a few days later and now those are shot... waste of money, lol. So ya gotta get new struts.
