Ok.....that just made me laugh! I had to scroll back up and look at it coz I didn't see it the first time.

That could really be anything, if a clay bar won't take it off, I'd try to polish the entire hood. If you only do that one spot, things might look weird after you're done.

Try hot water with a teaspoon of baking soda. It's a neutral solvent that will break up the contents of the poop. Birds eat tiny rocks to help them digest so be careful dab it off and don't wipe real hard.

Best way to fix it is to replace the hood with a Sunoco (see sig)

Looks like bird crap had that happen years ago to my 5.0, I was going to repaint the hood when my buddy Lightly wet sanded the hood and then buffed it a few times with diffrent compounds and it came right off. Hopefully that will help take it to a detail shop. a few bucks

That, my friend is tree sap...have fun. You are not going to able to clay bar that off. You need to get a real cleaner. I remember hearing about green apple or something like that. You can use some sort of REAL cleaner on it. That or take it to a good detail guy. If they are the real deal they have all kinds of tricks up their sleeves.

That **** will buff right out (pun intended). I had a similar stain on my hood for a couple years that I couldn't get out, even w/claybar. Finally broke down and bought a PC polisher and Menzerna kit, polished it right out on the first pass.

Oh dude have fun if that's tree sap. I parked my car under one of our trees not thinking one day and it was covered. A royal pain to get off!

Can't really tell what it is from the pic, but if it's clear and rock-hard, it's either sap or parrot ****. I know I know... but I had a flock of wild parrots bomb my WS6 about two years ago (amazingly there are flocks of wild green parrots flying around SoCal looking for nice cars to use as toilets). Thankfully they only got my t-tops but I still had to scrape it off with a razor blade. Just keep buffing it and it will come off and either invest in a car cover, a tree removal service, or a high-quality bb gun with a great scope.
