Default New Year weekend show and shine prep pics

I am finally getting my *** in gear and getting on detailing the car for the Winternationals 1000 pnt show in Orlando this February. After 3000 miles on the Hot Rod Power Tour this past summer, the sub frames took a beating . Here are a few pics getting them back where they were.

More to come throughout the weekend as I put some long hours in.

More to come guys, I am in the process of stripping off all the paper. Then will bring in the "aka" large kittie box, garden hose, and scrub the rear down.

Will keep ya posted.

Its alright. Does the purpose at this time, but will get a new one that will protect the paint a little more in the future.

After a long weekend, here is the pics of the undercarriage. I wanted to get that stainless to shine more, but with Road Atlanta 2-3 times a year, it has taken a beating with all the excessive heat.

The before

The after(power *****, sand paper, and a ton of sweat equity)

Still waiting on these to install when the UPS man drops them off. The Hotchkis sway bars are black and not been installed yet when I took these pics.

I have the same lower control arms and panhard bar. you are going to get a lot of noise out of them. plan on switching mine to the other style of adjustable one. but the car looks clean.

I understand the noise that will come along with these, but ol red only sees shows, Road Atlanta 3 times a year, and a drive on the local roads once in awhile.

A little. I kept the garage door open to help with it.

Tonight I started polishing with the Porter Cable and the wonderful product of Menzerna. That stuff is awsome!!! Plans are to be done with the buffing and polishing by the end of the weekend. Working 12 hours a day keeps me limited on what I can do in the evening.
