i looked for months tring to find a diffrent shifter. there were a few people that used some for a 700r4 but had to do some fabrication. i just bought a camaro shifter ****. like it a lot better than the stock trans am ones. but we should all call b&m and lett them know that we want a shifter for our cars maybe they will build one i know i would get one.

I know several people from this board have gotten with B&M and other manfactures. To date there is no after market shifter. Heck this has been a question since 98. I also did a search....

Why not just buy the spring/retention mechanism from aftermarket automatic shift *****, and fashion any shifter your little heart desires?

I'm sure that's what I'll do, with varying approval.

Why would you even care about a different shifter for an A4? You just put it in OD and that's it, right?

That one is nice. I think the only issue might be with the mounting of that stick. But not sure.

That's pretty much how you do it, but it's for an appearance mod for the interior.
