help how do u remove the hood scoop insert

i got a chrome grill insert for my ss hood and i cant figure out how to get the plastic one out . can anyone help?

i think it just pops out. i've never taken mine out but that's what i remember hearing. i'd like to know too, because both of mine are faded and look like ****.

take an allen key, loop the short side inside and turn it so it goes from ___| to | and pull gently. Theres little clips on the perimeter and the material is kind of bendy
