Autobody shop guys enter here!!56K no no
Hey everyone,
I stopped by an autobody shop on the way home from work to get an estimate for some work i need to get done. My car was in a little accident with the side of the road a while back and some stuff is out of whack. The guy quote me about $2500 for everything to get done, and i think its kind of a lot of money.... welll its def more money then i have to spend. Anyway, i am including some pics of what i wanted to get done and hopefully someone can give me a real estimate.
Also ignore how dirty the car is, it rained a whole lot yesterday and is supposed to snow soon. Thanks in advance

well i'm definitely not an expert but my shitty daily driver was hit by a lady and ended up costing $6500 to repair, and the damage wasn't even really that bad. $100+ an hour for labor adds up quick.

I'd be leary of that deal unless it's a buddy just charging you materials.
We couldn't even paint just the manta for that price

Was that at Maaco? j/k!
This was at my dealership, they actually landed up doing the work too. They were, however incapable of lining up the gaps on my hood. Good thing that Suncoast Creations is just 60 miles from me, so I drove there, and they lined up the hood for me. I then brought it back to the dealer and they painted it.

The only thing though, if i get into any accidents that are my fault, or get any tickets that will cause my insurance to go up, i lose that priveledge, and then i have to find a job to pay my own insurance or sell my car until i get through school (another 2 and 1/2 years) so this cant be reported.
I need to see if any of my friends know anyone with a body shop.
Maybe ill just take out another school loan to pay for my car.

Yeah thats sounds about right froma good shop. It isn't that bad, but the labor and material cost is whats getting you. Thats about the cost my shop would charge you for that amount of work.
