Best way to remove lt1 bird turn signals?

Default Best way to remove lt1 bird turn signals?

I am going to swap the stock lt1 firebird formula front turn signals for clear ones with led bulbs. Just wanted to know from someone who has taken these out what is the best and fastest way to get to them and take them out? thanks guys

get under the car, and remove the numerous 10mm screws to be able to take out the plastic "shields". There are also 3 body clips that attach the bottom of the bumper that need to be removed. Once there, you can reach in and unscrew the housings. Simply reverse the process and your done. If you have any power tools...use them on those damn 10mm. 90% of the time taken is just unscrewing them.

I was afraid I was going to have to remove all those screws and shields... welp it will give me something to do I guess, laying on the cold garage floor unscrewing numerous screws : )

Yea man....thats unfortunately what I was doing. Laying on the concrete garage floor spinning ratchets to all my hearts content. Could be worse, I could not even have a garage and do this. Good luck.

if you pop the headlight shrouds off, have skinny flexible arms, and know where all three bolts are you can get them from the top...

my arms are the size of king cobras, looks like i'll be going in from underneath haha
