Default what hood for my LT1 T/A

alright well i have the stock Ram Air WS6 style hood on the car now and it is a true WS6 with the ram air box and all the crap, but its an aftermarket hood cause the car was in an accident a few years ago. anyways, i like it, but i really like the look of the 4" VFN Ram air hood and also the stinger hood.

what do you think i should go with....

heres the car now...

now the stinger hood on my car before i painted it and **** and after the accident, but this hood blocks off all ram air so a CAI would be included in the funds. also anyone know where to buy one of these?...

and then the VFN 4" RAM air hood im sure you all know. anyone know if i can use my stock Ram Air box setup with this hood or what....?

You could always change your wing. Or lower it, put bigger rims.

I think the 4" is a little on the ridiculous side. I agree that what you have on now looks the best.

I'll agree, I really like what you have going right now. I'd switch gears to something different. Either work on the interior or performance... with the preference obviously going to performance

I love the look but suncoast creations can't make a good fitting hood IMO...

Heres mine

I really like the way my Ram Air Hood turned out, I cannot remember where I bought the hood from originally, but my dad and I did the modifying to make the intakes bigger and it flows much better with the car. I, of course like mine the best, but definately like the original ram air hood second best.

Hey Matt i thought that i would look out for you... To be honest i think that the 4" is way toooooooooooooo much.. that is JMO....

Yes i am dying to get the hood. I am also getting some blackbird stripes for it too. Also Matt with the VFN hood, when they are done making it, the hood has a gel coat on it. They said that before you prep/paint you will need to let it cure 1 month. That is ok for me since my TA is in storage

yea my hood was on my car for a good few months before i bought it unpainted, then i drove it unpainted another few months so no problems with mine, but the guy i bought it from told me it is supposed to cure for a while like you said. drive it around a little bit with the hood i would say and then paint it when the season gets going in like early april. hopefully youll have it by then!
