Default AfterMarket Seats for T/A

So I am getting new wheels and stuff with the paint job thats being done on the WS6. Along with new carpet I want to get some new seats. I don't run with the back seats anyways. And I was thinking about having a box made, "corvette mod" done. And then a Roll bar setup put in. So it only makes sense to get some really good racing seats put in.

If anyone has any pics or reccomendations. I was looking at some corbeau's. But not sure if they are really comfortable.

Well, I really LOVE the Mad Racing Seats (Recaro knock-offs) that I just installed...

They aren't drag racing seats (as they weigh the same as stock Trans-Am seats) but they would be auto-cross racing seats (as they hold you like a glove)...

They look INCREDIBLE and feel even better...

Here's a pic:

And here's my thread which should answer any questions you have and it has more pics:

Not sure if it's the type of seat you're looking for but if it is they are great and can't beat the price of $458 shipped for a pair of black leather seats !

dude those do look really nice.

how much do you think they weight? The corbeau are like 27 lbs. The driver's seat is HEAVY AS ****! the passenger seat isn't to bad. So I would say the drivers seat weights somewhere around 50 lbs or more.

The seats by themselves are a little under 27lbs. as well (put it this way, in the box with rails and hardware they were 30lbs each)...

If you use the stock rails (aka: retain power) then they will be heavy... If you buy the brackets from Arizen that allow you to use the sliders the seats come with you'll easily shed 20lbs. on the driver side and probably 10lbs. on the passenger side

i will probably ditch the entire stock setup. So I could shave some weight then. That is good. Got a link for the seats. My gf loves the look of them. So they are comfortable right? thats my thing..i don't like the TA seats. GTO seats are ultra comfortable to me. So I want something like that.

Very comfortable! Tighter than GTO seats though... I'll PM the link.
