Default LED question

Hey guys, my camaro cluster is in the mail and should arrive this week. I used Kelientes website as a guide to buy the right bulbs, superbrightleds. She says to get 5 of the 12VDC 1-LED Wedge Base Bulbs. I looked on the site and it said that the base on these bulbs was something like 194/168 (not sure if those were the exact numbers cause i cant get back on the site right now for some reason). my question is, can I buy a different bulb that has more leds on it to light up brighter as long as it says the same 194/168, or is there not enough room in the back of the cluster to fit anything bigger than the 12VDC 1-LED Wedge Base Bulbs?

hey brian2006, i just put in the bulbs u recommended and it looks great!!! thanks for the help. I just have one question. I put the bulbs in, put it in the car, and some how they all lit up on the first try. Im pretty sure my luck isnt that good that I guessed them all on the first try lol. Do these bulbs light up regaurdless of which way you put them in? Did all of yours light on the first time also? Im pretty sure all of mine are lit because I dont see any dull spot, everything seems even.

Mine did the same thing. Don't ask me either! But, I did try some kind of technique making them all facing one way. That way they were either all off or all on. I think I got lucky

heres some pics of before and after. Only reason i was thinkin that maybe all my lights werent lit is because your redlines show a little better i think. Also i think the tips of your needles light up better as well. lemme know if you think it looks like all mine are lit since all the light is evem. over all i am very happy with it. the only thing is that i dont have the pictures to go along with the temp, oil, battery, and fuel gauges. Possibly the firebird bezel is covering them? and yes my needles are off but im too lazy to fix them right now lol. I forgot to put the damn odometer erset thing back on so ill fix them then.

Cool

Same blue LED's that keliente used, then i modified Blue Gauge Needles to fit on.
Needles were designed for Chevy Tahoe 99-02.....
They don't make 'em for Fbody's just trucks and Vettes.

hey kage, why in the second picture does it seem like your 4 smaller needles are still red even though in your 4th picture it shows that they are all blue?

That's the problem, they don't make 'em in blue as OEM style needles......
