Default Installed my roll bar...

It's all bolted in !!! I still need to trim the carpets and cut the interior panels for it to all fit back in but the roll bar is in and bolted down !

I can't find my friggin' camera but it's dark out so it wouldn't really matter right now... I'll try to find it and get pics of it BEFORE the interior is put back in (for anyone who wants to see how it's mounted) and AFTER it's all put back together...

For now, here's the ad for it:

Here's pic of it from LG Motortports website:

Same pic zoomed in:

Here's how it looked when I bought it (actually, it had more surface rust than in these pics) from XpEdItIoUs for the AMAZING DEAL of $50:

...one more:

Here it is sitting in my apartment after I sanded it down and sprayed it satin black:

I might end up padding part of the top, comes close to my head. We'll see when it's all said and done... Also, everyone was right USE POR 15!!! I already scratched the paint

It was on a part that will be covered by carpet but it's probably a sign of what is to come... Luckily, it's bolt in so if it does get messed up it will take 30 minutes to have it out and ready to paint, next time with POR 15 !

Yeah, glad I did . I'm too friggin nostalgic... When I was in college most of my good friends had Camaros... When we went out on a Saturday/Sunday night we all piled into a couple of them...

Always had new people (girls) asking questions about this gauge, or a t-top conversion, exhaust, etc... It was good times.

Since I'm married and the wife has a Focus we always take her car when there's more than the two of us so my back seat didn't seem too neccessary...

Then of course, right after I took it out and am considering putting the rollbar in we end up with a friend in the back (on the floor) commenting about gauges and stuff making me think I should keep a back seat and not install the rollbar in case we decide to take friends in the Camaro more in the future...

Finally, a week later, I'm like, "F@ck that! This rollbar looks kick @ss!" and compromised by installing it AND a back seat...

The rollbar is designed to RETAIN the back seat and passengers anyways... I haven't decided which REAR seat I'm putting in yet...

2001 Ebony:

or 1996 Graphite:

Trying to match the new fronts:

I think the 1996 Graphite will be a much better match to the pattern but might not be as black. The ebony, if the pattern REALLY bugs me, I'm sure I could just get the insert replaced in a pattern closer to that of the front seats...

I have a set of BOTH coming so it should be pretty easy to make up my mind and then re-sell the other...

Ok, off to find the camera and finish the install
