I have a fiberglass SS hood that I bought from Chaser Aerodynamics that I'm trying to get into paint, but when I did the test fit, the holes to bolt the part of the hood latch onto the underneath side of hood itself don't even match up to the hood latch from my stock hood???? Could it be that I need the hood latch part from a 00 or 01 Z28 or SS?? Mine is a 99 Z28...did they change the part of the hood latch that bolts onto the underside of the hood each year or ??

No, the hood latch should be exactly the same for every car. Most likely the holes on the aftermarket hood are incorrect. You may have to have your body shop re-fit these holes if your uneasy about doing it.
