ive done nothing internal... and i kept everything so i could put it back to stock if i ever wanted to. Nothing wrong with that, but when the modding bug nips at ya its hard to resist going overboard.

Bought my car new in 2002. Engine wise it's still stock. Only mods are descreened MAF and free ram air mod. Still have the stock exhaust manifolds and all. It came with the SLP 345HP package which added the lid and cat back and I've been very happy with it so far. Eventually I'll do more to it engine wise.

It can be done, but it isn't easy resisting the urge to mod. You shouldn't be afraid to do changes, however. To me, doing even small changes can be fun, just as long as the mods are done right. When fukups happen, that's when this stuff starts to get old.
Just establish some ground rules, do some research on things that you like, and go to town. BTW I've only done the basics like a lid (oem), catback and cai, and a couple of interior mods and a wheel mod. My real forte is in detailing.....that is where my time and energy goes.

my car is still completely stock, other than the skipshift eliminator if you wanna be picky. i would mod my car but i have witnessed first hand from friends with modded fbodys that the more that is done, the more likely it is to break..thats just my opinion. of course every car is different depending on what you do but for me, i will mod my car when i have money to purchase the parts and keep it running.
and honestly, im pretty satisfied with the amount of power i currently have.

I've had my car for going on seven years now and except for a cat back its completely stock, performance and appearance wise.
It's actually very easy to do when you don't have money . Thinking of throwing some wheels on it though once I have some disposable income .
Good luck with keeping it stock. I thought I could too, and that only lasted 6 months.

I'm the original owner of my 98 SS. it was my daily driver until 04. it now lives indoors. engine-wise it has a loudmouth, and lid. also has skip shift eliminator and slp short throw shifter, slp bolt-on sfc's, TT2s, dms springs, procarparts black headlights, clear corners, stainless rear inserts, slp SS floormats. black exterior, gray leather. I think thats all. I love it just the way it is.

I put a mild cam and LT headers on mine. Smog came around so the headers are off but the cam is still in. Lost a shitload of power but I still love it, not going to put the headers back on.

My cars pretty stock, it gets old having one of the slower cars out of your friends, but my cars fun the way it is. I really dont have any money to mod it right now and prob will sell it before i do, but i dont really want to go any further than bolt on's so i can prove to my friends 11's can be had with a full bolt on's

i had mine stock for two years then i put catback and lid on, then went to full exhaust and suspension. last september i put a small cam in and now over winter my motors been apart putting in a monster cam and nitrious. Car modding is kind of like drugs once you start its hard to stop.

i bought my car with some mods done to it, and i've spent close to the cars value all over again in parts. hell, spent a little over $1500 last week at Stenod. I'm always changing a setup or doing this or that, hell i did another cam swap last fall just for something to do cause i was bored.
if you are fully satisfied with whatever you have, there's no reason to change it. my parents have a bone stock '99 WS6 that's the 30th anniversary one. it's always nice to jump in it everynow and then and cruise in it. That car pulls way more *** though cause it's so "flashy" and "stick's out" where my SS is just a noisy red camaro

Stock?......um mine was stock for 2 weeks.
When I first got it I was like this thing is perfect....needs nothing. That lasted about 2 days before I started looking for a cat back. Then I met a couple of guys in a local F-Body club - it was all over then.
