I think you might need a trans am rear bumper support, other wise it should be a straight bolton

I don't think it would look right without the side skirts off the T/A because the T/A rear bumper hangs down more than the Formy one. Your gonna end up with a rear bumper that hangs down further past your front bumper and side of the car.

slick1851: The Rear bumper support is the same, I bought one from a 01 T/A on ebay and it was the same one that was on my 95 Formula. Luckily I only spent $50 with shipping on it.

02poncho: I think the T/A bumper cover alone makes the car look 100x better but the side skirts will make it look that much better.

Let me know how it goes. Another thing you might want to do is try to find the side skirts from the W69 Sport package or the side skirts from another kit like the Vizage. I want to do the same thing, so I'm pretty interested in seeing what the mod involves. Thanks

actually the stock trans am bumper doesnt even go down as low as the side skirts. if you put the rear bumper of a trans am on a formula it may be even. The ta bumper is a good 2-3 inches higher than the side skirts. Never seen it but this is what im imagining because one time i held a ta bumper over the back of my v6 and i didnt notic anything like that

I seen this thread awhile back. There are some pics of a Formula with a T/A rear bumper cover and no side skirts. I think it looks pretty good.

T/A bumper cover
