When i bought my Trans Am it had a interior wood kit. I need to take it off. What glue remover sould i use. Does anyone have any experience in removing or installing another kit. I would hate to take it off and not be able to remove the glue or adhesive. Anything will help........

Be careful with those solvents.
They may disolve the dash too.

I think Goo Gone is citrius based and should be ok. If I remember correctly, Goof Off is much stronger. Read the warning label and all other information on the package. Then test it on a hidden area to see the affect.

Also, sometimes the glue used on those kits actually makes a strong chemical bond into the dash plastic. If thats the glue they used, then removing it may damage the dash.
