So I finally get my Sunoco hood in the mail....BUT!!!
ITS BROKEN!!!! I can't believe it I waited almost 8 weeks to get it and in shipping the back corners by the windshield were damged. The box was dropped of and the guy wanted me to sign for it ASAP. I was like "well....the box is torn up, its open, and I would like to make sure everything is ok with the hood before i sign." So I began removing the packing around the hood and then i see it both coners GONE laying in the bottom of the box! I just looked at the guy and he actually asked....is there a problem? I really could only think of the pain i wanted to put him in for asking such a dumb question. Then I said yes we have a problem and i'm not going to sign for this hood. So long story short I spoke to VFN and they were very unhappy with the shipping company and they are making me another hood and should be here in a couple of weeks. I do have to say one thing about this it makes me feel good about how the hood is made because if you would have seen the condition that box was in you would have thought there would have been a lot more damage. Sorry guys I just had to vent a little.

Was it shipped through UPS...if so, they blow big time. They lose packages, deliver packages damaged and don't want to fess up the money to fix their problem. I shipped a set of wheels a month ago, and 2wheels got to the guy, and the other 2 got returned to me, ONLY because my previous shipping label was on the inside still. I filed a claim when the reciepiant said they never showed up. Yesterday, i got a letter from them. It states that i did not have insurance on the item, which infact i did. A little more to be safe. They also go on to say, that i did not have enough packing material and it was not their fault the package was lost. So, i would have been up **** creek w/o a paddle. Luckly, i got them back and made them pay for shipping back to the guy. Sorry it was off topic, but I think Shipping companies need to be held accountable for damage.

ROADWAY blows too... although i was stupid and didnt check the package before signing. They damaged my package... dropped it and a big chunk came off the side of my T/A hatch and said "it came that way"... what douches...too bad i signed for it. Ill never make that mistake again.

Sorry to hear that. I show's how good of a company VFN is that without hesitation they are making you a new hood and are shipping it out at their expense.
One of the reason's I went with VFN was because I could drive down to their shop and pick it up. Saving a ton on shipping and not having to worry about that happening to me.
