Just like the title says Im looking for pics of a Lt1 or LS1 with a ultra z hood and stripes, or if anyone could do a quick chop..I would like a red LT1 with black stripes. Ive never seen a camaro with a ultra Z and stripes so I think this would be pretty unique. Any ideas?

Thanks for the pics, I like the look of the blue car but maybe with a solid stripe instead. I wonder how it would look if you just painted the entire scoop area say black.

I'm glad I found this post . I've been really trying to narrow it down between the Ultra Z and the Sunoco Cowl for my car. Just never really seen stripes on the Ultra Z before. I really like the white car with the black stripes. I thought of that already but wasn't sure if it would look good or not since the ultra z is kinda like a reverse cowl down the side.

Yeah, it's super dark blue on black. Not the brightest combo eh? But it came on the car and did look pretty decent in person. you can't really see it in that first pic though.
Damn now im missing that car.

I say go sunoco, I think its the best looking aftermarket hood, even the stock ss hood is better looking than the ultra z

That's what I noticed too. I don't care for it too much on the LT1 cars. They look awesome though with Glasstek 4'' cowls, but LS1 cars I think look horrible with 4" glasstek's. I just wish SLP didn't get an arm and a leg for everything they sell. That's why the sunoco is soooo appealing. Like $450ish I think ,and Ultra Z is freaking $800.

if u really want an ultraz hood just keep a look out.. they pop up in the for sale section every so often. they usually go for 400-500 used, and you may even find one your color if ur lucky..

if u dont want to wait, then get the sunoco.. that hood is so nice..

The sunoco hood is nice, I'm just not a 100% sure on it. It's so hard to decide, I guess for some it's a no brainer. Most would say Sunoco. Sometimes the sunoco hood looks to narrow in the front. Looks absolutely awesome from the side though.

How does everyone think that white camaro with the black stripes on the side of the ultra z hood look if there were berger stripes on the side of the fender. I think it would look good but yet the 2 stripe themes might clash with each other. Just a thought.

that stripe setup on the 427hp camaro (white with red stripes) looks great, and this is from a guy who hates hockey stripes

I'm with you on that one. Hockey stripes use to be cool the first couple of times I've seen them, now they're everywhere. But I can't talk either though, I have black zo6 motorsports wheels and they're all over the place too.
