Zaino or no.. Vote inside
Ive been hearing things on and off about Zaino. Supposedly its a pretty good product.
Heres my current line of products with:
Meguiars Quick mist Detailing spray +Clay for claybar
Poorboys 2.5 swirl removerw light cutting pad @ 3000 RPM Portercable
Menzerna or Optimum Polish w/polishing pad @ 4500-4800 RPM Portercable
Red goose or w/e... Glaze w/ finishing pad @ 1500 RPM
2 coats of P21 Caranuba applied by hand
Should I switch to Zaino for extreme swirls? If I do, what should be the products I use, and at what RPM do I apply them?
Thanks for input

Before you go to any product, you must address your swirling. You won't do your paint justice until it is polished to a clear surface.
Try going to a more aggressive pad with the combination that you have. Vary your speed, and notch the thing all the way up for a little while (it can take it). Start with your most aggressive polish and work your way to the least aggressive, taking your time (and going over panels additional times if needed). With patience your polish and pad combinations should take out the swirling. Make a laundry list of some items that you may need to really set the paint straight b4 hitting your surface again.
As for the lsp, that is a personal choice. I am an avid user of P21s (for my daily driver.....I have a wax for each car....but that's besides the point), and if you aren't satisfied with the performance as of now, then I would definitely examine your prep routine. P21s with the right handling will give you excellent results. But the best thing about detailing is having the chance to try out different products. Don't ever trust heresay, because you can get disappointed with other people's results as opposed to seeing the real results show up on your own car.
Good luck.

Also Zaino has no abrasives so it won't remove swirls and theres really no point in using it with a pc.

I spent just as much in Mothers products and it didn't do anywhere near what Zaino did for for me on the first coat.

Not had any probs with durability. Car is always slick and smooth something Mothers doesn't do.

Poor Boys does a good job, just make sure you are using it correctly .. proper pad, and proper speed..
experiment with several, and find the one that you like best ..
As for Zaino .. there are several things about Zaino I don't care for, but if you don't like the durability of Zaino, then you aren't applying it correctly, or you got a bad batch .. It is a quality product, as long as you use it like it was intended to be used, and don't pretend it is the cure all for everything. It is one of the most durable products out there, period.

As a few people have pointed out, Zaino is a sealant. With the exception of their ZPC product, Zaino does not remove or reduce swirl marks. Remove the swirls with a good abrasive polish, then seal it with Zaino or whatever sealant/wax you choose.
As for durability, remember that sealants tend not to bead water like waxes. Sealants tend to make it sheet off, so if you're basing your claims on the fact that water isn't beading, you might be incorrect. Or maybe you applied a glaze before applying Zaino. It has always been very durable for me.
