Default shitty morning

I ruined my day 15min after waking up....at 5:20 this moring I get in the camaro started it and let it warm up.....I put in reverse and start my morning squeeze between my moms sebring and the bushes.....well the window were kinda foggy and I didn't bother rolling them down to see for some reason......well I payed the price......ny moms gas door handle owned my quarter panel....as soon as I heard it I stop and pulled forward.....I got some good scratches and a a dent about 10 inch long...little over an inch high.....just above the plastic bumper.......I'm was more sad than pissed.....lucky thing is my friend dad is a paint and body man I'm goin to stop by today and see how much its gonna cost.....anyone know what the best paint is to color match

damn that sux
Just check your RPO code it will tell you what color your paint is. And the painter can mix some up for you and it will be cheap for such a small area.

PPG, Sherwin Williams auto. those are the 2 that are used at Gm dealerships

PPG/3M are usually what GM factories use, but it changes from production yr and between plants. both of those are quality paints from what ive heard from body guys. Theres another brand which i cant remember right now, but you should be able to find one of those three locally

I stopped by and got a price.....around 250 to fix the dent....and another 250 to paint the hood plus material so around 6 or 7 hundred......so I think I'm going to order a hood next week and have it painted in 3

Not true...GM body shops are not forced to use only those 2.

I do like PPG. IMO, color match comes down to who is mixing it.

i m going with sunoco style hood.....he uses dupont paint

Well i was just stating what my dad uses, bc he is head painter at a chevy dealership, ant that is what they use..
