Default Removing tint on back window with defroster lines?

whoever had my firebird before me had a bad tint job done, and its bubbiling and unclear, also it looks like alot of the tint was ripped off leaving just a thin sticky layer left. Normaly I remove my tint with some go gone and a razor blade, but how do I remove tint on the rear window with those heater lines? I don't want the goo gone to mess those up, or my razor blade to scratch them off.

use some rubbing alcohol, won't hurt electronics and brings the sticky stuff off easily. Thats what I used to get tint off my doors. Just be sure to clean it after your done.

I just reread your post, I see you still have some tint on it too. Just use your razor blade to get it started and then use a hairdryer to heat the film and it will come off easily and then use the alcohol to get the little bit of glue that remains.

"My" tint guy used a clothes steamer to remove tint from the back window. Worked like a charm.
