Default My Mad Racing Seats Installed:

I finally got my Mad Racing Concept Seats installed! The drivers side is fully bolted down, and slides without any problems or interferences! I used a stock manual sliding rail for the drivers side and adapted those to the seat. For the passenger side, I adapted the rails that came with the new seats and mounted those to the floor using metal brackets. So far the only few thing I noticed are the stock sliding rails are heavy as hell! The drivers seat sits a little high due to the factory slider but Its actually pretty comfy and I like it that way. Also when the seats fold forward the top of the seat hits the t-top; but for me its not a problem since I have a bar and no back-seats. I have to crawl out of my car now its like a god dam race car! The seats fit me like a glove. If you can't tell I'm very happy with the end results.

(Touching the t-tops when folded forward)

Any questions or comments?

Alex..those are hot....I was looking at those before I got my CR1's. and the only reason I got the CR1's is cuz I got a mad deal...

Could you do me a favor/ Measure the OD of the seat base including the tilt mechanisms...

Vette needs new seats..the stock ones suck!

Hmmm very interesting. I wonder if the supplied brackets from MAD would lower the seat any? I sure would like to keep the tilt of my stock driver's seat though.......
I might look into these seats very soon.
