hey i have been looking around for weeks. does any one know of a company that makes black out tail lights for a 1998 trans am..... if you have a link it would be very appreciated..

Are you looking for covers? If you mean actual taillights, just make your own. Buy a product called VHT Nightshades and follow this write-up:

i looked in there i did not see any for a 98+trans am tho.. only firebirds and camaros

then get them for firebird since your car is a FIREBIRD Trans Am

yeah man, firebirds and trans ams have the same tailights, therefore the same tailight covers will fit both.... they are at the very bottom of the section i told you to look at

You can get blackout tail light covers from AutoZone. They aren't on the shelf. Walk up the the counter and order them. They'll come in in about 3 days (no shipping charge). The price is usually between $45 - $55.

That would be the easiest thing to do. But, I think the "spray-on" would look better.

lol well i own a camaro,, my buddy is the one that owns the ta.. i was looking for a birthday present......i thought they were diffrent lol.......sorry

try the auto zone ones. for future reference Trans Am is an upgrade package for the Firebird, like Z28 is for a Camaro.
