Default Best way to strip stock wheels?

I broke down the stock rims and tires and want to strip the black spray paint, and factory paint off of the rims, to give me a fresh clean canvas for my polishing, as Im going to polish the lips, and paint the spokes similar to my TTM's and put drag radials on them...

Maybe like an aircraft stripper? Supposedly that stuff works pretty good.

Aircraft stripper will DEFINITELY do it, but it will take a few coatings to get all the paint off. It's not fun.

i would just take them to get bead blasted...i tried using aircraft stripper and gave up after i spent a whole day on one wheel, and there was still paint in some places.

I've stripped stock paint off of wheels that were like 12 years old with aircraft stripper. the key is to spray it on, let it do it's thing, and then power wash it off with HOT water! Cold water doesn't work nearly as well, so I'd recommend renting and heated power washer and buying a couple cans of aircraft stripper.
