Where to get shorty antenna for T/A??

Default Where to get shorty antenna for T/A??

Please help where can I find a shorty antenna mine got bent last night, also where can I get the chrome firehawk lug nut covers??

You can cut it down by your self, just twist the ball off the top with a pair of pliers, cut the rod to length and drill the ball out a slight amount and tap it back onto the rod. A little semi flat black paint may be needed on the ball.

yea i just cut mine down to about an in long. but i didnt do the ball thing as stated above. i never listen to the radio so i dont care

o to answer your question. bitviper on here sells them hes a sponser as far as i know.

I usually make all of mine 8" long, the Vettes really need this mod as my Z06 antanna was taller than the roof of the car. The radio still picks up just as good as before.

What do you do if you have an electric antenna? Will the BitViper one still work on that or do I have to mod it somehow? I'd still like to be able to listen to the radio but if it disables that then whatever, I just don't want the long retractable antenna anymore.

It works like a stock one. Its very simple to install. I was one of if not the first person to put one on a T/A. In fact he will tell you to PM me if you buy one for install instructions.

You need to buy the piece used on Camaro's, you can get them from a scrap yard pretty cheap. After that its really easy.

Kaos....

Not my antenna will only fit on the stock GM antenna base......
