Default question about shifter ****

will a 6-spd **** from a C5 vette fit on a factory hurst shifter out of a 2002 TA?

simply.. yes it will. Someone on here has one out of a C6 i believe.

EDIT: the diameter's are too small so you'd have to use this:

No. The thread pitch is different between the F and Y bodies.

thanks. and i did a search but could find nothing. i just thought a C5 **** with the shift pattern would look good in my 3rd gen camaro with the LS1/6-spd swap.

I did it, I bought a C5 Z06 **** and got it on my Pro 5.0 with a short stick. I simply cut the threads off of the stick and found a grade 8 bolt that threaded into the **** and welded the bolt to the remaining part of the short stick. I really like this because it allowed me to angle the **** slightly to fit my grasp better and the head of the bolt acts as a retaining stop for the shift boot so the shift boot stays tucked up nicely below my shift ****, it doesn't show the shift stick at all like the factory setup does.
