Default High end detailers in please, steve, zainO, i need opintions

Its been about 2 years since ive bought any buffing materials. I just bought a black audi a4 for a beater and the paint is pretty rough, it had moderate swirls and looks like cat claw marks on it, but nothing too deep. Im looking for a compound that leaves little/no residue, a swirl remover that take all the rotary swirls out, and all the correct velcro backed pads i need. heres my current lineup of what i have.

Porter cable 6"
dewalt rotary 8"
velcro backing plates on both
3M perfect it 3
menzerna intensive
menzerna final 2
zaino z5 pro
zaino z2 pro
P21s
2 claymagic red clays
3 meguires clays

all my pads are worn out so i need one for every step

like i said its been 2+yrs since ive ordered anything other than zaino to maintain the paint.

help me with a process that will work and where to get the compounds/pads at

thanks a lot

You'll need pads too. I'd say at least a 6.5" orange and 6.5" white. Maybe even a yellow, depending on how bad the scratches are.

The menzerna intensive with an orange pad takes out a lot of things, but if the paint is really that bad, then a yellow pad may be necessary, or even some 3M polishing compound.

agreed .. you may need to go with a yello pad ..

Chris or Steve .. any chance that you will start carrying the Edge pads?

I don't really care for them on my PC, but I am really liking the 8" pads on the rotary ..
