Default how to take out LT1 WS6 hood grilles?

I'm looking to take out the grille pieces from my hood, but I'm not sure how and I definitely don't want to break them. How do you take them out and put them back in? Thanks everyone!

They just pop in and out. They have a small slot cut into them to allow some flexing. They will bend some as they come out but you can easily bend thm back to shape as the are metal.

As said above, they can be pryed out but def be careful to not nick the paint. I didn't realize they were metal until I removed them to install my stainless steel covers.

ok thanks for the heads-up! yea i'm thinking about painting mine gloss black, with a very faint red flake in it. the reason is because i have red pinstriping on the hood and i think it will compliment it well. either that or i'll paint them to look like stel or aluminum.
