Cleaning alloy rims
My buddy has an 01 Silverado. He would appreciate some suggestions on what would work best on cleaning his alloy rims.
That's about it. Many thanks in advance!

mine where extremely dirty and i used mequiers hot rims (i think thats what its called, its a red bottle)it made my rims look new (and they were terrible) you just spray it on, rub with a rag if they are really bad just to loosen the dirt/brake dust and spray off, it drys spotless

oooh i feel like an idiot, i was at the store today and realized that its not the meguirs that i normaly use but the Black Magic, that is the one in the red bottle, i use meguires for a tire shine and black magic for the alloy cleaner (but do the cleaner first, it will take wheel shine off.) i hope i didnt confuse you to much, but the meguirs is good product also if your friend purchased it already.

soap, water and a sponge then spray them with armor all or something an wipe off the excess or skip the armor all and wax them ONLY IF they are clear coated. that helps keep the brake dust down too. they will also be nice and shiny
