Is there any yellowed crap left on them? If not, just wet sand with 1500 for a while to really clean it all up. Then you use either Meguiar's PlastX or the spa polish that has been mentioned on the forum for a while. I did the 1500 grit + spa polish and it worked pretty well. Not perfect, but better than what you have right now.

Make sure you are wet sanding. Dry sanding will not be fine enough and could actually ruin the headlight by scratching it too much. You could even bump up to 2000 grit wet sand to get the scratches even finer.

You really need to sand for a while and after you rinse and wipe the headlight off after sanding, you may notice a few spots that need more sanding. Just keep doing it. PlastX and the spa polish can only get rid of very fine scratches.

I had to order mine online. It was less than $20 and you can easily do two headlights and have enough left over to probably do two more.

Wet sand with 2000 grit wet/dry sand paper. (3 bucks at Pepboys) And get the Novus 3 step polish kit. Do a search on here for Novus and you will find a link letting you know where you can buy some. ($12 with shipping & handling included) Hope this helps.
