Default what front grill? needs licence plate!

i am buying a ls1 camaro that comes with no front bumper grill. i guess they removed it for the looks. however, i need a front license plate in my state ( i am not taking chances because they write tickets for this in my town). so, what grill that will hold a license plate do you recommend? also, where can i buy it at?

you can get a billet grille off ebay and a lot of people just zip tie their license plate to it

Get the SLP front plate mount it mounts low so you can still see the grille and you dont have to mess up your grille to mount it

It isn't. It mounts underneath.

ive been driving with no plate for about well 2 years and on 2 different cars. my T/A is my daily driver and a front plate is mandatory. i got pulled over 4 times but only once did the mention it and i said i was trying to track down the bracket from the dealer but having trouble, never got anymor flack about it. just in case i do tho, i drilled to small holes on the top of the airdam and carry the plate, 2 bolts and wingnuts in the back. if a cop says anything.... "sorry officer i was just at a carshow and forget to put it back on" then i proceed to install it for him. never had to do it yet tho. i wouldnt put it on till u get greif for it then just tell them youve been trying to find the correct bracket/grill and completely understand that you need to have it on there. then leave and do w/e u want to, but i havent seen the same cop since he talked to me about mine.

My brother is a cop, so if I ever got a ticket for no front plate, I'd never hear the end of it.

Im glad Florida doesnt require front plates.

They look terrible.

I feel bad for my fellow f-body owners that are FORCED to put something that they dont want on their car.

dont put it on, and keep it in your car, cop pulls you over tell him "it just fell off cause I used these really cheep plastic screws and probably did not tighten it enough" worked for my buddy...the cop just let him go with a warning

i can't really tell how that slp license plate mount actually attaches to the car. does it actually go in front of the car and then mount underneath? is there any drilling required with this setup?
