Default powdercoated throttlebody guys

Quick question. Do i need to take out the little seal/bearings that the blade ride on before to be coated or will it stand up to the heat?

i was wondering that too. but to be safe i just painted mine.

There was a guy on here who sold a powdercoated TB and I thought it looked sweet so I saved a picture of it in hopes of doing mine like this.

If your worried about the heat messin it up just get some high temp. paint, mask it off & have at it. I wouldn't think you would be messin with the TB enough to damage a good paint job on it.

no when they powdercoat they bake it on at 360 degrees so i am afraid it will melt. I had the valve covers powdercoated so i want them to match

I had mine powder coated Red that looks awesome. Also the water pump neck to match. Matt Blum sells them powder coated or he'll do yours. He uses Noble coatings for his work and they do a great job. he can be found on E-bay and if you type in Trans am throttle body you can find his auctions. Well worth the money. I had mine painted but then had it powder coated looks a lot better.

do you know if he tales those out or leaves them in? I have a powdercoater here local
