Default Chrome bird overlay on a Pewter car?

Im considering putting a chrome bird overlay on my front license plate cover. Has anyone done this before? How did it look? Im torn between chrome and black.

I went with a chrome theme on my pewter WS6...however, I wish that I would have went with black. IMO, black bird overlay on the license plate cover, black Pontiac inlays and CETA in the back look amazing when put altogether.
