Default Nice day + new wheels = pictures

Well i finally got some chrome wheels on the Z. This is honestly the VERY first time i have ever had anything chrome on any of my vehicles so i'm pretty excited! Anyways i washed the car yesterday and used the Powerball Mini and some Mothers Chrome Polish on the wheels. It was too nice outside today to not take some pictures.

Let me know what ya'll think. Any questions, comments, criticisms? By the way....i know it needs to be lowered. I'm working on it but its kinda hard with the lack of clearance of the duals.

and here is a short video clip i took on the way home from taking pictures. I was granny shifting and only shifting at 6200 b/c i was having to record and drive at the same time. I usually shift @ 6800. Just wanted to let ya'll know what the car sounds like inside!

Let me know what ya'll think!

Looks nice I would ditch the SS centercaps and get plain ones or even the red bowties.

Yah thats the plan eventually. I dont know if you noticed but the front wheels have the "hammer weights" on them. The guy who had the wheels before me must have put them on. I just got these from my roomate who made me an offer i couldnt refuse. I'm about to get new tires so those weights and centercaps will be coming off.

Clip on weights is the only way to go really. The sticky weights sucks and will alaways at some point fall off. Just ask the shop to attach the clip weights to the back side of the wheel, not the front.

yea, get rid of those wheels weights that mount outside... kills the look, get the stick on weights for the inside or just ask for a static balance where they just put the hammerd-on weight in the inside.

Looks very nice, what is your plan for the front bumper, any grille or just gonna fill up the holes and leave it that way?

thanks! Actually i tried to avoid too many pictures of the calipers. They are starting to chip and look pretty bad. They will be getting redone though along with "camaro" caliper decals.

I really haven't found a grille that i like yet. So i am thinking about filling in the holes smooth and repainting the whole facia. What do you think?

Car looks good! I would just lower it ( as you mentioned), changed the side markers, and maybe do the Whistler mod as a few starting upgrades.

They're nice, but I would have stayed with the 10spokes over them. Still lookin good man, just my opinion. By the way what size are they out back?

Thats cool. Sometimes i wish i would have stayed with the 10 spokes. But everytime i used to get my car all cleaned up and detailed it was ALWAYS missing something. It didnt POP to me. Now even if my car is a little dirty and my wheels are shinning i'm good! They are the stock size out back for now but i'm looking at some 17x11s.
