Default how is an slp grill held in?

i got a used one at a good price and there is 2 sided tape all over the back of it,so i'm assuming that it is held on with 2 sided tape. is this correct?

I used 3M emblem adhesive in strips. Worked like a charm but originally they were held on through drilled holes in the bumper cover with pinecone fastners. I didn't want to drill...

Suppose to be held on with push pins... Notice the holes in the grill...

Some of them are push pin/christmas tree style fasteners, others are double sided tape.

In all honesty, drilling isnt that much of a problem. Just getting a drill to angle right for the upper outside holes - is (esp if you leave the front end on). If nothing else, take a dremel and hack off the heads then super glue them onto the grille. If the thing comes off with 6 pins vs 8 you screwed up lol.
