Default Snapped a few quick garage pics

I was bored tonight and we just got done putting a TSP LS6 ported and shimmed oil pump and FAST 90/90 in the car and I thought I'd snap a few quick pictures of the car to see what you guys thought so far. I did something that i'd never really seen before in painting the nostrils to match the rest of the black theme on the car and kind of finish off the stripes coming down the hood. I also painted the underside of the hood to match. So what do you guys think? Positive or negative?

I like it!!! I personally think painting the rest of the engine bay black like the old muscle cars would tie it all together.....kinda looks unfinished with the black hood underside and red fenderwells.

I think the front end would've looked better painting just the grilles instead of the shell too, but its growing on me.

Underhood...I dunno. Something just looks "off". Maybe the fact there's just too much contrast between the black and red. Like - the bottom needs more black, or the underside of the hood needs more red? I cant put my finger on it, but my eyes just cant focus on a "flow" under the hood.

Yeah, the ultimate plan is to paint the entire engine bay black to match the hood. But I've got to pull the motor to do that. So I'll just wait until I need to pull the motor out for something before I paint that. I was just wanting opinions on what I've done so far as far as far as the red/black theme was concerned.

i think i would have left a lip around the nostrils red so when youre looking at it from the front it matches up with the bumper, but i dont mind it

not crazy about painting the outside of the nostrils black..not digging it but if you finish painting the engine bay black that would look very nice.

I didn't bother removing it. There is a pretty big lip around there. I just taped it off and sprayed it.
