Default Anybody done a side mount exhaust tip?

Thinking about getting rid of my magnaflow muffler and dual tips and running one pipe to dump on the driver's side behind the tire. From the back, you won't have any tips poking out. Anybody ever done this?

Thinking about using an oval tip off a late model escalade or denali.

Thoughts, opinions, pics???

Oval tips look pretty bad ***. QTP makes the ones that come to mind first.

That might look awesome, but I want to do this on the cheap. I might put a bullet muffler/resonator on the exhaust to quiet it down a little, kind of impossible to do two tips that way. I doubt I'll keep this setup for less than a year, when I get out of college with a real job, its headers and ture duals

This is bad *** but he won't say who made them for him. Remember the GMHTP article where More Performance in Charlotte built the 725 Hp N/A LS6, the car that was built for had the same ones also.

In order for sidepipes on a Camaro to look right would be to have sideskirts, side skirts require the whole body kit. If something could be fabbed up and use the tips off the Roush Mustangs, it could look killer.

well I bought the escalade/denali tip off of ebay. I'll post some pics in this thread once its installed. Should look pretty sweet and sound nice once its done.

BTW: If you are running stock manifolds and cats, a 3" catback with no muffler sounds badass on these cars. I've done this before, and its loud, but liveable on a daily basis. Only reason I put my magnaflow muffler back on because I was tempted to sell the car, but decided against that. I've had it for 4 years and 60,000 miles, its never left me stranded, and been extremely reliable. The depriciation on a Z28 Camaro is pretty horiffic, so I decided to keep the car and fix all the crap that was bugging me.
