liscense plate cover
You know that space for your liscense plate on the front of late model (96-02) Firebirds? I noticed alot of people have that fancy bird piece that is the same size as a liscense plate, and it fits right in that space........mine doesn't have one.
My buddy has one on his car that he offered to sell me. How the hell do you get it off? Pry it off w/ a screwdriver? I can't quite see how to take his off.....I don't wanna screw up the front of his car!! Mine has four holes where it looks like it just may pop in.............Any ideas? Has anyone taken one off before?........I hope this isn't a complete dumb *** question..!!

See the two holes in the bottom of the plate in this sample photo at this auction?
There are two torx screws holding it in place.

Here's the info on the screw, ...

Yes, when the plate is installed you should be able to see the screws thru the gap between the cover and your front fascia. The stock screws are torx heads - but any type of screw (not bolt) will work as long as head is small enough to fit in the gap.
