Question Weatherstripping conditioner?

Well at the present moment I have been detailing the car most of the afternoon. However I am lacking in care department of my weatherstripping. I had a thirdgen that leaked like there was no tomorrow. Thankfully my t/a doesn't, yet, and I would like to keep it that way. Is there a specific conditioner I need to put on them, or even a proper cleaning procedure to make sure they stay leak free for years to come? I already never remove the tops which puts alot less wear on it already (should have bought a hardtop), however I figure regular maintence would be a definite imporvement.

^ and it doesn't take much to cover a lot of area. One of those tiny tubes you find at the parts store will do the weather stripping around the doors, tops and hatch several times.

^ Yup... I never ran out of my little container (size of a 50 cent coin) for two years until I just recently lost it.

+1 on the baby oil. It conditions, keep its moist and i found it in a pump spray that works great. Defiantely water proof and not as messy as grease?!?!?!? wtf?

Baby oil ???
