Haha! It's not that complicated. I'm using the TCI EZ-TCU to control my 4l80e and the TCI paddle shift hooks right up to the controller. Hardest part was getting the vehicle speed signal into the PCM since the TCU needs to be connected directly to the VSS. Dakota Digital makes the SGI-5e which one of the features will convert the filtered 4000PPM signal back into the sinewave signal the VSS sensor produces.

Not to totally derail the thread, but I got questions. I was considering doing this on my 70 Camaro as the plan was to go ls3 anyway. How do the shifts feel? I kind of talked myself out of it as I didn't the think they would feel as firm and precise as its built up in my head. I've used the bump shift setup on a few cars and it was really smooth but I'd rather have something closer to how a manual feels . More performance little less luxury and lag
