Default Scoop/Side inserts for WS6

Hi Everyone,

I have a black-on-black 2000 TransAm Convertible WS6. I'd love to add yellow scoop/side inserts (I'm in Pittsburgh), but I don't want to paint the existing ones in case I screw it up. They remove & reinstall easy enough, but I'm just worried about the painting side of things. Any ideas or direction would be much appreciated.

Enjoy your rides,

- George

Just get some 600 grit sand paper and scuff up the area your going to paint. Go get some adhesion promoter from Autozone and follow the directions on the back of the can. Get your yellow spray paint and apply three light coats waiting for the paint to get tacky between each coat. Spray on a clear in two light coats if you want and your done.

yellow on black? have you thought this through? Most of the time yellow on black looks horrendous . You know what would look really killer on your car? Chrome side vents. have you seen those? They are a reproduction part in tripple chrome. You can keep your stock ones in case you dont like them.

Yea, follow the proper paint steps & you'll be fine. If you mess up you can always use some thinner to remove the paint, it's not permanent. There was a black w/yellow accent WS6 on here when I first joined. It looked sick. He has since changes to silver accents after he got a full paint job.
