Monday night detail-S-351
I cleaned my buddy's '99 Mustang tonight, he is going to a show this weekend in Colorado, so I hit it up.
The car is a '99 Saleen S-351 speedster, it sits in the garage all the time &rarely gets driven, so it was pretty good to begin with. It did have some light surface scratches, I was short on time, so I didn't try to take any detailed pics. I think the car is badass, so I wanted to share...
The pics suck, it was dark, so it was impossible to get any good "after" pics.
*Wash w/ Tropi-Care soap & microfiber mit.
*Dry with microfiber towels.
*Claybar followed by PPC detail spray.
*Tropi-Care swirl remover w/ Porter Cable speed 4-6 w/ orange LC pad. (Used some 3M compound on some deeper scratches)
*Wiped off with Tropi-Care detail spray.
*Tropi-Care TC-3 w/ Porter Cable & blue LC pad, speed 3, used microfiber bonnet to remove polish.
*Mothers chrome polish on wheels.
*Black Magic on tires & wheel wells.
*Meguiar's PlastX on the headlights.
*Final wipedown with Tropi-Care detailing spray.
*Nothing to do in the engine bay except I used some polish on the top of the radiator...No pics of it tonight...
Before:
After: Can't tell too much...If feels like butter though!!!!
Here is an engine shot from a show last year.
Next up is his orange '04 Cobra...
Thoughts, besides my "after" pics suck.

It is a mid-11 second car on 18" DRs.
