Thoughts on C5 Grand Sport clone?

Thoughts on C5 Grand Sport clone? I had considered going this route when the car was completely stock, but after we bought the KB the appearance mods kinda got put on hold.
Then yesterday Beth was browsing and while she was looking over the Caravaggio site she came across this car:
And that kinda got us thinking about it again.
The idea would be to add the white stripe, the red fender stripes and either have the stock Z06's powdercoated black or maybe go to some black powdercoated C6Z wheels since the stockers are a little rough courtesy of the previous owner. No GS badging or anything like that, we're going to have some custom emblems made.
My thought is that the KB hood could really make this look mean... then again it could throw the whole thing off because it seems like it would force the lines of the stripe in too sharply up front... I'm kinda on the fence because of that. I've seen it on 2 different C5's and it looks awesome, but both were with stock hoods.
So what do you guys think... yay or nay?

that looks hot! need to make some blue FRC's with a hash on the drivers FRC. too bad you cant make the air bridge, couplers and KB white to match the stripe.
edit: or better yet a red KB like an LT4 intake

I like it....my one concern is that the GS stripe, if done like the example you posted, would not follow the divergent profile of the hood. I'd definitely do a photoshop before you commit.

I read the tread title and thought NO.
Then I seen the pic and totally changed my mind. I think it would look great. Maybe leave off the hash marks to avoid the purists that will bash you.
